本课程讲解土工结构在土木工程中的常见并重要的应用，包括土工织物的原理与应用，土工织物挡土墙的设计，一种新型桥台结构（土工加筋土-整体桥梁系统）的设计和应用。通过三个实例，本课程会讲解岩土工程中高级室内大型试验，包括大型直剪仪，大型震动台的沙土液化与液化后的强度增长，在循环车辆荷载下的路基翻浆与防护措施。

This course will present the most common and important design and applications of geotechnical structures in civil engineering, including principles and applications of geosynthetics, mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) walls, Geosynthetic Reinforced Soil–Integrated Bridge System (GRS-IBS) as bridge supports. Advanced laboratory testing methods in geotechnical engineering will be introduced through three case studies: large-scale direct shear testing, large-scale shake table testing on soil liquefaction and sand aging, and traffic-induced fines migration and its remediation in pavements.
